This is a FULL upgrade for the 2nd gen Mini & clubman. It gives a fantastic sound (much better than the hifi upgrade). Contains; Choice of Amplifier 500 or 720 watt, Kenwoods finest 6*9's, 300 watt 3 way in the rear positions, Choice of Clarion Front woofers, tweeters & crossovers, plug & play connections, sound deadening, cables. There are 2 choices of location for the tweeters - door - where the factory small speakers are or the better pillar position - this is using a pair of genuine Mini hifi pillars, pre fitted with our clarion tweeters. This job takes 2 of us 7 hours to fit.
We will happily run you to the local station so you can go to Liverpool or Southport shopping or sightseeing, we will even give you a guide to the area, on your return we will pick you up again....more

 | Stereo upgrade loom for 2nd gen Mini
These are plug & play looms for upgrading the stereo in the 2nd gen Mini without having to splice any factory cables.
We have 2 designs & 4 versions;
Kickwell design plugs in in the kickwell so doesnt require the dash stripping. Note this does NOT have an amp turn on lead. I use Kenwood amps that have high level input & signal sensing with the speaker splice version of this.
The stereo design plugs in at the stereo and comes with instructions for removing the stereo. This does have a amp turn on lead.
Versions;
1. Speaker splice. This is for adding amplifiers that have high level input (e.g. our kenwood ones) You can add a front amp, rear amp, subwoofer amp or a combination of these
2. Speaker splice with front RCA output. This is for adding a front amp or subwoofer amp that has RCA inputs.
3. Speaker splice with rear RCA output. This is for adding a rear amp or subwoofer amp that has RCA inputs.
4. Speaker splice with front & rear RCA output. This is for adding front & rear amps that have RCA inputs.
Note: The rear outputs on the 2nd gen Mini do not carry bass so it is far better to use the front outputs to drive your amplifiers.

This kit comprises of the set of 350 watt 3 way speakers for the rear positions in the new Mini, along with a choice of Kenwood amplifiers & all the wiring needed to fit it to the factory stereo system in the R56. This includes a plug & play adaptor for the stereo (instructions for removing the stereo are included)
The amp supplied can be fitted under the seat.
Note: the 600 watt amp can be altered to 4 channel mode in case you ever upgrade the front speakers.

 | Channel swap adaptor for 2nd gen Mini - increase your BASS
The 2nd gen Mini factory stereo system has a complete lack of bass response. This is due to the rear outputs of the stereo having a bass filter built in. So those nice big 6*9 speakers in the rear sound terrible. This plug & play loom swaps the front & back outputs of the stereo, so the bass is sent to the rear. It is easy to fit (5 minutes) & doesnt require the stereo removing.
Note: this is not for cars with hifi upgrade. If your car has factory parking sensors the sound will now come from the front speakers. If your car has factory nav or bluetooth, the sound for this will ow come from the rear speakers....more
