2nd gen fitting channel swap/amp adaptor
The channel swap mod is a cheap & simple mod to improve the sound in the 2nd gen Mini. We offer a plug & play solution. If you wish to add tweeters or an amplifier they can also be plugged in here.

The connector is hidden behind the left sill panel (where the bonnet release is)
This panel can be unclipped easily by pulling it towards the centre of the car. Note the small triangular piece above it can be left in place or slid towards the back of the car to give you more room.

There are 2 connectors clipped together, a black one hiding the white one.
NOTE: ensure your key is not in the ignition.
Release the 2 plugs so you can get to the white one

Unplug the white one

Connect your adaptor - in between the white plug & socket .
